​2017 - 2019

 

Responsible for supporting the HR and Development teams by coordinating and delivering high-level administrative and fundraising services to achieve maximum patient support for the hospital. Successfully helped organize two fundraising events and all in-house programs.

  • Screened all incoming employment applications and referred to the HR manager for approval.

  • Updated and maintained the Employee Database using the Microsoft Excel software.

  • Developed job description templates and assisted with recruitment and recruitment documentation.

  • Ensured quality assurance systems were in place for monitoring work performance and for investigating incidents and complaints in the various departments.

  • Maintained contact with all departmental heads on matters concerning recruitment, selection, training, and development, performance appraisals and reviews, discipline, and counseling before retirement.

  • Organized and maintained contact with consultancy firms and academic institutions to arrange training programs for the staff.

  • Assisted in organizing first-ever FOCOS Ghana fundraising galas, which have raised over $400,000 to date.

Successfully led important tasks, including facilitating airport arrival procedures, provision of transportation, lodging and security services, and coordination of other logistics for clients.

  • Lead Protocol Officer on Google’s G-Ghana conference in 2012 on Local Growth and Global Impact, which saw over 150 people attending.

National Service Personnel - Ashaiman Municipal Assembly

Responsible for administrative duties in the Registry department including record keeping, documentation, certificate issuance, and facilitation of communications between the assembly and its constituents. Also was responsible for inspecting health certificates for food vendors in the community. Acted as secretary and recorded minutes at committee meetings.

  • Volunteered and assisted the municipal assembly to embark on a new street naming project.

  • Created files for new employees to improve administrative efficiency and enhance record keeping.
